6.3.21 Shunts

Shunts (measuring resistors) are not assigned to any instruments or work stations and

are thus available for each work station. In the document view these are only available

for selection if a multimeter has been selected (see chapter 6.3.17 “Multimeters”) and if

the property “Use of shunts” is enabled.

Shunts continue to have, as multimeters and standards used, an additional inuence on

the measurement uncertainty.
